Plasticine Candle Stand [Illustrations by Anup Singh]

Before you begin making the candle stand, spread some sheets of newspaper so that you do not dirty the floor.

The things you need:

  1. Plasticine

  2. Old newspaper

  3. Steel bowl

Step 1: Flatten plasticine to make a circle. Cut a perfect circle using the rim of the steel bowl.

Step 2: Roll some plasticine in a cylindrical shape.

Step 3: Place it vertically in the centre of the circular plasticine base.

Step 4: With your finger make a hole on top of the cylindrical bar to fix the candle.

To make your candle stand more attractive, roll out plasticine to make it look like an earthworm and wind it around the candle stand in a spiral fashion.
