The things you need:

  1. Plain cotton cloth (18 inches by 18 inches)

  2. Cardboard

  3. Needle and thread

  4. A plastic or iron ring

  5. Foam or cotton

  6. Wool, sketch pens/fabric paints,

  7. Adhesive

Step 1: With the help of a thread and needle, do a running stitch at the edges of the cloth. Let the stitches be spaced out. Do not knot the thread after finishing it.

Step 2: Cut the cardboard in a circular shape. Stick foam on it.

Step 3: Place the cardboard in the centre of the cloth with foam side facing downward. Pull the two ends of the string such that the extra cloth gathers at the back of the cardboard and the front looks flat.

Step 4: Cut a strip of cloth three to four inches wide and 12 inches long. You can take any cloth. Pass this strip through the ring and stitch it with the cloth at the back of the cardboard.

Step 5: You can decorate it by making a doll’s face by using wool for the hair, and colours for the features.

Additionally, make a loop so that you are able to hang it on a nail in your bathroom.
