Content for the juniors include channels on Poems, Stories and Activities. Content for adults is really beefy with topics like your Baby, Baby Names, Children and Media, Travel, and Special Child. Insofar as usability is concerned, the site scores an average of 1.5, because of factors like that the kids and parents page take too long to download and in the home page the search and channels drop down need to be relocated Usability plusses include a search provision, which blocks out access to pornographic sites.
Aesthetics on the site score a high 2 because of the way the site is laid out in a simple, neat and consistent manner. The colours used on the site are also aesthetically appealing and do not jar the eyes of the viewer which is so important when young child views the site. An aspect which could probably be looked into by the site managers is the scope of space utilization. Can space be better utilised than it is being done at the moment?
