Why should Indians celebrate Father's Day, an American festival, you may ask - if not for making card companies richer!
True, Father's Day is not something our parents relate to. For, they did not grow up with it. But, what is the harm is letting your father know that you love him or that you appreciate what he has done for you? That, certainly is an universal idea.
Most of us mark our birthdays by cutting a cake, observe festivals like Holi or Diwali by sending greeting cards. So, adding Father's Day to this list will surely do no harm - the question is, how innovatively you convey the message.
