Sea mammals have no fixed home in the water but some have special sleeping habits. Florida manatees sleep on the sea bed. They come to the surface every ten minutes or so to breathe. Sea otters sleep floating on the surface. They wind strands of seaweed round their bodies to stop themselves drifting.
