Chintu: How did you do your exams? Mine were so-so. I think my parents will be disappointed :-e They had taken a month’s leave from their offices to study with me. I can almost see them scowling. :-/

Pintu: Don’t ask me about exams. I feel like crying. ;'-(
My parents also went on leave to study and help me study.
My father ‘s advertising company could not launch its new product, because he did not have time. Imagine, a famous company had to stop work because of me and my class V exams!

You know, one night I heard my father scream. :-@ :-@
“I can’t handle it any more. This arithmetic and social science is killing me,” he cried out. My mother told him to take some tuition so that he could teach me better. I felt sorry for him. Felt like hugging him. [ ]

Anyway, let’s forget about exams. What are you planning to do now?

Chintu: I’m going to watch so much TV that I become wide-eyed. 😎

Pintu: That is, if you have power. My mother says Delhi is full of powerful people, like politicians, and it is also full of powerless people. She manages a good joke sometimes. Then, she smirks. :-]

Chintu: Your mother is right. If we have no power cuts, watching TV is all I will do. It is so much better than meeting friends. Anyway, all my girl friends can only talk about this new hero, Hrithik Roshan. All they have is big bug-eyed smiles. 8^

You must be so bored. But you’re right. Watching TV seems to be safer than going out. For there are madmen on the roads these days. Chintu: My mother told me that they call it road rage. All over the world, people who drive are doing crazy things. There are more and more vehicles, more and more traffic and more and more confusion. Frown 🙁

Pintu: Hey! My mother says the same thing. She says these days people like to bully, break rules and get what they want. And smirk :- ] on top of that. Because, they feel that is the way heroes are like. Mom says we are mad. We think of a cricket match as war and war as a one-day cricket match. I feel like sticking my tongue out to such people. ;-p

Chintu: That reminds me. How are you going to celebrate Mother’s Day on May 14?

Pintu: My mother says it is enough if we remember not to keep our smelly socks lying around. It makes her grimace >;-(
A present would have been easier. But now I will have to keep my promise. That’s difficult.

Chintu: My mom also says a Mother’s Day party will prove to be more expensive for her. She will have to do all the cleaning up afterwards. She says she knows how much we love her. So I think hugs and kisses [ ] and *: will be enough…
I say I have to go. My friend Rajni is forcing me to see that six-fingered hero’s film. Bye…
