&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;January 28, 2009&lt;/strong&gt;: The Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, began on January 28, 2009 and will conclude on February 1, 2009. The theme of this year&amp;rsquo;s meet is &amp;lsquo;Shaping the Post-Crisis World&amp;rsquo;. There are around 2,600 delegates, including political and business leaders from all over the world participating in a series of discussions on economic and political issues. Russia&amp;rsquo;s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, and the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao addressed the meeting on the opening day.&lt;/p&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
